Philosophy: Aims and Objectives

Shishu Chetna Kendra: situated in a village (Salan Gaon), Dehradun, is an unconventional teaching cum cultural (samskar) method specially programmed for toddlers from 2+ to 5 years old, belonging to rural communities. The SCK has incorporated Montessori, and philosophies of other educational systems and appropriately adapted to the needs of the local rural community. It is founded by Ms. Nirmala Sharma and was formally opened by Bharat Ratna Dr. Abdul Kalam, on the 28th April 2001.
